How to Slip-Slip-Knit (ssk)

Slipping two stitches knitwise and then knitting them together through the back loops is a very commonly used method for decreasing by one stitch.

1.

Slip two stitches knitwise.

2.

Insert your left needle through the front of both of these stitches. You should now be setup to be able to knit the two stitches you slipped together through the back loops.

3.

Knit these two stitches together through the back loops.
