How to Make One Left (M1L)

The Make One Left increase is used to increase by one stitch which leans to the left.

1.

Using your left needle pick up the bar in the top of the fabric which is between your needles, going from front to back. This bar should now be sitting on your left needle.

2.

Knit through the back of this loop.
