Featuring assorted arrow motifs, the Directions Cowl is an easy but engaging colourwork project. With no long floats this project is ideal for knitters who are new to stranded colourwork, as well as those with more experience.

Yarn
Main colour: Fingering weight yarn (85 grams / 372 yards / 340 metres)
Contrast colour: Fingering weight yarn (85 grams / 372 yards / 340 metres)
Suggested Yarn
Main colour: 1 skein of Pigment & Ply SWM Sock, colour ‘The Sylvan’ (100% SW Merino) - 100 grams / 437 yards / 400 metres per skein.
Contrast colour (dark green): 1 skein of Pigment & Ply SWM Sock, colour ‘Aelirenn’ (100% SW Merino) - 100 grams / 437 yards / 400 metres per skein.
Needles
3.25mm - 16 inch / 40 cm circular (use the needle size needed to achieve gauge).
A second needle of the same size will be needed to finish the cowl. If you don’t have a second 3.25mm needle you could use a smaller size such as 3mm.
